HISTORY

Ten years ago, I started working for “food industry.” This company gave me the big opportunity to learn and master the process of producing 100% natural and organic products. At that time, the company’s main production was sausage products.

One day, I realized that the importance for customers to bring home healthy food with out preservatives. I always had the dream of opening my own business. The main reason for this was to bring a little piece of my culture and provide American consumers with an authentic product from my native land, Mexico, to their tables

In 2007, talking to my mother, Alicia Hernandez who resides in Mexico, she mentioned that my grandmother, Lucila LunA, had started her own recipe book in 1933. She said that this book was her biggest inheritance and she will be honored to share this with me. She offered to send me the book. With in a month, I had the book in my hands. In reading the recipes, I learned what a treasure it was. With this in hand, in October 2008, the company Enrique Jimenez food inc. was created. The main purpose was to produce and share this treasure.

In March of 2009 I decided to bring this gem to American consumers and created my company SALSAS VALLARTA. I choose this name in honor of Puerto Vallarta, a Mexican paradise.

As a consumer, you have helped us with your valuable comments, to create a better product and for this we thank each of you. In addition, you have also helped us grow our inventory with many of your special request.

In many of our presentation, people requested “Hummus and Dips.” That proved to be an excellent idea. Now these products are part of our inventory.
